The 3-D foundation course is designed to introduce and familiarize you with the basic concepts and concerns of the three dimensional process. The class is broad, cross-disciplinary investigation of artistic processes, artists, and art criticism. In order to develop your approach to the art making process, we will explore core concepts of the fundamentals of design and composition. Class assignments will encourage experimentation on form, process, and material. This course will provide an opportunity to expand your technical skill base, solve visual problems, develop proper work habits, and begin to improve on a creative and critical approach to art thinking and making.
